This is why it’s necessary to have knowledge of fo4edit and your own merge patch at the end of the load order. It’s good for the health and limb targeting stuff, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be screwing with weapons or making leveled list changes and I suggest you disable the level list esp.Ī lot of these combat balance overhauls all fall into the same trap of not respecting scope and end up touching various little things to fit the mod author’s idea of how the game should be played. I’m of the opinion that BLD touches too much. I then reconcile any of BLD’s NPC conflicts with my own merged patch (which is necessary for any non trivial mod setup anyway). It’s fairly difficult this way to say the least as there’s just never enough ammo and getting into it with a pack of gunners or even a single turret requires actual tactics and cover.Īs far as how I got BLD to work with RGBO I simply ensured RGBO loads after BLD to stomp out all the weapons conflicts.
I actually use RGBO and BLD together with Weapons of Fate, Immersive Fallout (not Immersive Gameplay), Pack Attack, Insult to Injury, and Loot Logic.
